Asbestos can be found in any building built before the year 2000 (houses, factories, offices, schools, hospitals etc.) and although banned from being imported into the UK still causes around 5000 deaths every year.

EML was established in 1979 by the Managing Director, Derek Smith. Since its incorporation the company has developed to provide a nationwide professional environmental measuring and consultancy service specialising in asbestos related projects.
